We work with  Member Institutions to  build campus NESI Portfolios which are based on the institutions individual strengths.  Example portfolio include summer internship opportunities for Native kids, science enrichment and recruiting outreach opportunities to rural and urban native communities, on-campus community building for the Native scholars enrolled at said institution and building relationships between the Tribes in the region and specific academic departments,  in order to open lines of communication between Tribal Leadership and the campus Aademic Leaders.
