NESI at UMass Boston started in 2014 with the Institute for New England Native Amerian Studies (INENAS) in partnership with the M|C|E Academy.
Since that time, UMass Boston has been involved in a number of community events with NESI.
Fall 2015, through the support of the Vice Provost for Research and Strategic Initiatives and the Dept. of Physics, UMass Boston is our second NESI Member Institution.
